Design Notes

To export the HlpA-binding protein to the EcN surface, a (truncated) INP (ice nuclease protein) tag is fused to the N-terminal end of HlpA.Also, we fused 6x his tag at the end of Hlpa to facilitate purification.

It is important to note that HlpA is a new part that we uploaded this year. And as a toxic protein, it does not exist in the igem whitelist. We have drafted a safety precaution about HlpA and submitted a check-in form to igem official. The details can be seen on our wiki.
